The center has made it its goal to develop ground-breaking fibers as diverse and sustainable alternatives for large-scale textile production.

With its work, the Fiber Innovation and Research Center (FIRC) supports the development of the circular economy. By developing sustainable fibers and product, by finding innovative ways to recycle products and reintroduce them into the value chain, as well as by optimising production and recycling processes, the FIRC fight for circularity at various fronts.
