The mission of the Fiber Innovation and Research Center (Fiber Center) is to provide diversity of fibers in industrial production. The center has made it its goal to develop ground-breaking fibers as diverse and sustainable alternatives for large-scale textile production. It does so by conducting research and optimising processes based on the findings.

The Fiber Center does not just develop new fibers for the textile and fashion industry, but also shows the possibilities these new fibers present by creating sustainable fabrics from them. The Fiber Center is currently working on the development of a number of innovative fabrics that can be used for various products.

With its work, the Fiber Innovation and Research Center supports the development of the circular economy. By developing sustainable fibers and product, by finding innovative ways to recycle products and reintroduce them into the value chain, as well as by optimising production and recycling processes, the Fiber Center fight for circularity at various fronts.
